ARS GRATIA ARTIS
Creativity isn’t just about making things; it’s how we process life and connect with others. It’s in the way we talk, move, build, eat, and laugh — it’s human.
Sebastian Dobrzynski — born in Poland, raised in Ireland, soul of the universe — artist, designer, and creative director. My work lives where identity, emotion, clarity, and a sense of story meet. I believe that art is a crucial element of what makes us human. I believe design is an infrastructure for connection — built to last, to be felt, and to carry meaning across time.
This is a multidisciplinary studio rooted in the arts, anthropology, and expression. Through this medium, I create artifacts, tools, and systems that help myself and others think and feel more deeply. My practice is guided by ritual, nature, and intentional living. Every project is an expression — a design and a philosophy — a way to shape the invisible into something tangible, enduring, and alive.
The studio began as a practice of organizing a sense of attention — to nature, to materials, to breath and rhythm. I keep an archive of sketches, field notes, photos, and fragments. The archive becomes creation; creation becomes narrative. That loop is the studio. This isn’t an agency. It’s a living studio where identities, publications, and scenes are built with care, then left to breathe. Fewer projects, deeper work, long horizons.
The studio is not a team of many.
It’s me — and I like it that way. I design, write, and build the work directly — sometimes publishing, sometimes experimenting, sometimes shaping brands that last. Collaboration happens, but always in orbit around a singular vision and process. Some projects are made with clients; some I make alone, in dialogue with something larger: nature, ritual, the subconscious. Both are necessary. Both keep the work honest, experimental, and alive. The aim is simple: to build things that people carry with them.
